Complementary methods

Integrative methods for those areas where words no longer suffice

Transformation takes place at all levels

Many individuals intuitively sense that the roots of their issues run deeper: into physical sensations, relationship patterns, unconscious images, experiences that cannot always be named – yet have a palpable effect.

In integrative psychology, we combine well-founded psychological work with methods that address deeper levels of consciousness. These approaches are based on the insight that change does not only happen in the thinking mind, but also on a somatic, emotional and systemic level.

Science meets inner experience

The effects of such methods can now be understood using the latest findings from trauma research, neurobiology and consciousness psychology:

  • Neurobiology: How the autonomic nervous system stores experiences, protects itself and regulates safety
  • Biophysics: How areas of tension, cell communication and energetic charge states shape emotional and physical experience
  • Psychoneuroimmunology: How the psyche, immune system and hormonal regulation influence each other
  • Aetiology: How instinctive protective reactions, fight-flight-freeze responses and social co-regulation are deeply rooted in evolution
  • Systems theory: How symptoms do not occur in isolation, but are expressions of patterns in larger contexts
  • Transgenerational research: How experiences, traumas and relationship patterns are epigenetically encoded and passed on across generations

That is why EYZE incorporates the following methods, among others

These methods complement standardised psychological procedures with more complex experiential approaches. They allow us to reach deep-seated inner structures that cannot be accessed with words alone.

""
Regression and memory work: Access to preconscious, early childhood or implicit experiences that still have an effect today
""
Holotropic breathing and deep breathing processes: Activation of altered states of consciousness to integrate unconscious content (based on Stanislav Grof & modern trauma research)
""
Imaginative image and symbol work: Use of inner representations to access and restructure implicit emotional coding
""
Trance, hypnosis and focused attention control: Access to subconscious processes with full inner protection
""
Archetypal and transpersonal approaches: Working with universal inner structures beyond biographical limitations
""
Body-oriented self-regulation and somatic resonance work: e.g. biodynamic massage, vagus-oriented body interventions, embodiment
""
Resonance-based fields and process-oriented constellation work: for the integration of systemic, unconscious dynamics
